gift of reading

Something you want, something you need…
What could it be? Something to READ!

From now until December 8, the HBMS ONLINE Holiday Book Fair is open. Click this link to being shopping.

Be sure to share the link with family members who may be looking for something to buy your child for the holidays.  It is important for students to have access to high interest, quality reading materials at home, and purchasing from the book fair has the added benefit of helping our school. It’s a win-win!

All orders will ship direct to the school for FREE when the Online Fair has ended.  Orders are estimated to arrive at school within 5-10 business days after the Online Book Fair ends on 12/08/2017.

Award-winning Haynes Bridge Employees

Three Haynes Bridge Middle School team members were honored today at Fulton County’s formal recognition gala — the Legacy of Excellence.  This gala is held every fall to celebrate 2017 top employees for Fulton Schools, as well as all employees of the year from individual schools.

This year, Rebecca Myers, Assistant Principal, was recognized as the Fulton County Professional of the Year out of all schools in the county.  In addition, Aysha Farooqi was honored as the HBMS Teacher of the Year and Lynn Busy as the HBMS Professional of the Year.

Winners were nominated based on teacher, staff and parent input and evaluated through an application/essay review and interview.

Congratulations to our award-winning HBMS team!
