The Local School Advisory Council involves representatives from all segments of the community and the principal. The purpose of the LSAC is to assist the local school in bringing about cooperation and coordination of resources to maximize education opportunities for the students. Council members must maintain a school-wide perspective to issues and discussions at their monthly meetings. They encourage community participation in decision making, involvement in schools, and communication with the school.
